Reseña crítica:  El doctor Anton Phibes (Vincent Price) comienza a vengarse de los médicos que dejaron morir a su amada esposa (Caroline Munro) en la mesa de operaciones. Las muertes comienzan a sucederse, y cada una es una resemblanza de una de las plagas divinas con que Moisés atacó a los egipcios en el Antiguo Testamento. Un inspector de Scotland Yard (Peter Jeffrey) intenta desemarañar el misterio ayudado por un doctor (Joseph Cotten) que probablemente sea la última víctima de Phibes. Quizás lo mejor que filmó Vincent Price en los '70 y lo más rescatable de la filmografía de Robert Fuest. [Cinefania.com]
