Edison Studios: Bajo la denominación de Edison Manufacturing Company, se conoció la productora norteamericana propiedad del inventor Thomas A. Edison, que presidió los albores de la historia del cine, primero a través de películas para Kinetoscopio y luego para cine. En abril de 1911 la producción de filmes fue transferida a una nueva compañía, la Thomas A. Edison, Inc., que produjo el primer serial, WHAT HAPPENED TO MARY? (¿Qué Sucedió a Mary?-1912). La compañía cerró sus puertas en marzo de 1918. |
